Start at Karnal station

The Karnal-Yamunanagar proposed new railway line will run from the Karnal railway station on Delhi-Ambala’s railway line. It will connect to the Jagadhri-Workshop station on Ambala-Saharanpur’s railway line. Distance from Karnal via Ambala Cantonment to Yamunanagar on the existing rail route: 121 km Distance by road from Karnal to Yamunanagar: 67 km The proposed railway line will be 64.6 km long and provide the fastest link between the two cities.

Growth will increase as connectivity will increase.

The Karnal Yamunanagar rail link will connect to the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor in Kalanaur. This will facilitate the development of logistics parks within the Karnal Yamunanagar area. Indri Ladwa, Radaur, and Radaur will allow for quick access to the markets for plywood, timber, industrial products, fertilizers, and other industrial products.

This new line will provide direct connectivity to Karnal and Panipat, as well as other areas of central Haryana. It will also act as a feeder route for the Eastern DFC with an interchange point at Kalanaur station (alongside Yamunanagar). This project will also connect Haryana’s western and southern parts to Haridwar, the holy city.
