Gujarat: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will retain the Home portfolio with him, Kanubhai Patel was appointed Finance Minister

The division of departments was also completed after the swearing-in of the new Gujarat cabinet. According to the PTI news agency, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will continue to manage the Home Department. Kanubhai Patel was also appointed Finance Minister. The information states that Chief Minister Patel will be responsible for the General Administration Department, Information and Broadcasting, Industries, Mines and Minerals, Urban Development, Urban Housing, Narmada, and Ports. Patel also keeps the responsibility of those that were not allocated to him. Rajendra Trivedi, Jitu Vargani, Law Minister for Education, and Rushikesh Patel, Health and Family Welfare Department, have been given this responsibility.

Gujarat Finance Chief Minister

The new CM met with the new cabinet on Thursday after the swearing-in of 24 new ministers. We are sorry to inform you that the former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s cabinet has not been included in the new Gujarat cabinet. 21 of the 24 new members who were inducted into Patel’s council are now ministers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had tweeted earlier and congratulated all the leaders in the new Gujarat cabinet. PM Modi tweeted, “Congratulations all party colleagues who took the oath of ministers in Gujarat government. These outstanding workers have given their lives to public service and the advancement of our party’s development agenda. We wish him all the best for the next term.
