RCB vs SRH: Bangalore coach Sanjay Bangar defends Kohli, says – now he needs luck

Sanjay Bangar, the team coach, has stood by Virat Kohli following his dismissal for zero against Hyderabad in IPL 2022. Virat is currently in the worst stage of his career and has not been able play any match-winning innings. His last century came in more than 100 innings. Kohli was also dismissed in the match against Hyderabad without opening an account. He is now being relentlessly trolled on social media after his dismissal. Cricketers are focusing on Kohli’s poor form and discussing dropping him from the Indian T20 World Cup team.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore coach Sanjay Bangar has defended him. Bangar says Virat is trying to play big innings, and is preparing hard, but he needs some luck right now.

“Virat does his best”

Sanjay Bangar stated that Virat Kohli has done everything possible for his team and that he now needs some luck. He is optimistic that Virat will soon get out of the long, difficult phase and play many match-winning matches.

He stated, “Virat has been a consistent scorer for Royal Challengers Bangalore. These are the kinds of times that players go through. He had a fantastic start to the season. He nearly won the match in Pune. But he was run out by the umpire and his outer edge went straight to the fielder. These are all things that we all experience. He will overcome it, even though it is a difficult time.”

Virat doesn’t need to take a long vacation

Ravi Shastri, former coach of India, had stated that Virat requires a long rest. Sanjay Bangar stated that Virat is doing all he can at his level. He is working hard on his fitness, batting, and taking the necessary breaks when needed. He will continue doing so in the future. Sanjay Bangar, who was defending Kohli, said that he was in great form during the 80-run run knock. He doesn’t let the pressure build on him. He loves the practice sessions. He just needs some luck to score runs. He’s getting out on the first or second ball but he’ll play big innings if he gets runs.

Virat was unable to score any fifty points this season

Virat scored 41* in IPL 2022. He scored his last century with the bat in any format three years ago. Sanjay Bangar, despite his poor form, says that he is a valuable player. He is a popular player and everyone knows that. However, he will soon get back to his best form and won’t need a break.
