These instructions were given by DGCA to four apartments in Vasant Kunj that pose a threat to planes.

Aviation watchdog Director General of Civil Aviation has ordered DDA that four apartments in Vasant Kunj be reduced in height. The DGCA declared the 15-story buildings in Ganga Yamuna Narmada, Saraswati Apartments at D-6 a threat to aircraft landing at Indira Gandhi Airport. These orders caused a lot of distress among the residents.

Following a survey by Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the DGCA issued a notification to DDA on August 26. DIAL had provided the height requirements for the buildings surrounding the airport, based on a survey that was conducted in 2016. He also gave the heights of the apartments of Ganga Yamuna Narmada, Saraswati, and Narmada. Officials from RWA argued that the house was bought by people who have saved hard money.

They will appeal to the DDA, and if they are not accepted, they will approach Supreme Court. These towers are home to retired and serving high-ranking officials, pilots and litterateurs, as well as other intellectuals. According to him, these towers were built after the DDA received the No Objection Certificate. Now another authority from the same government has stated that the building’s height needs to be decreased. Is there anything wrong with the people who live here

Residents of four apartments have been protesting the DGCA order since it was issued. He plans to ask for relief from DGCA/DDA. However, dissatisfaction is expressed about the notice issued by the RWA. RWA officials claim that the notice about the apartment should have been sent to the residents.
